23.06.2013The Beginning of Kuroi Inku
So, how did it all begin? I've been active in the webdesign and graphic scene for many years and helped out on various sites. Back then, interactive schools (especially based off the Anime Doremi) and series pages (Staffelseiten) were totally my thing — though times have changed. These types of pages were a big part of the German webscene, I wasn't really active in the English-speaking community. My own series page, called "Kuro Himitsu", was unfortunately neglected after I became pregnant, lost internet access, and faced personal challenges. Eventually, I had to shut it down, which was very hard to accept. SchokoNeko also suffered during this time, just like many other side projects I was a part of or owned. I was offline for over a year, and honestly, the internet just became a closed chapter for me. Then, in May 2013, I got internet access again and the urge to return to the webscene came back. I joined "Sayoora" and "LD-Graphics" and met my current Hoster Artur. Working on these sites reignited my passion for creating. But something was missing — I wanted something that was 100% mine again. So I decided to start fresh — a new site, made by me, for my graphics only. And that's how KUROI INKU was born in 2014. I was finally back — and I truly believed it would stay that way.

Fast forward to 2021 – 7 years later — I lost motivation after migrating my website to WordPress which accidentally broke everything. Actually, I think many other websites disappeared around that time too. Kuroi Inku was closed once more and stayed offline for four long years. But sometimes, things just need time.

And now — July 2025Kuroi Inku is FINALLY COMING BACK!
I started to feel the urge to have my own website again. I wanted to come back, but I needed a fresh start. So I decided to create a new site from scratch with a new design and a new name: Kinku. I've returned with new energy and inspiration, and I'm more excited than ever to create and share again.

Big thanks to Artur, who has continued to host this little world of mine for more than 10 years now.

But the biggest thanks goes to Nick — without him, Kuroi Inku wouldn't be back online now. He has been an amazing support and friend and I'm so grateful for his help in making this possible. He helped me with the design and technical aspects of the site and I couldn't have done it without him. All my gratitude goes to him for everything he has done for me and for Kuroi Inku.

Kuroi Inku - now Kinku - is more than "just" a page. It's a part of me — and I'm so happy to welcome you back.
